Penguin Attack
Description
Some nasty aliens have decided to invade the south pole and are trying to take over all the icebergs. It is down to the penguins to protect their home by sliding into the aliens and pushing them into the water.
To play, tap the penguin you wish to use for your attack and then tap the direction in which you want to launch the penguin. The further away you tap away from the penguin the more force behind his attack and the further he will move.
The aim of the game is simple - push all the aliens off the icebergs. However, there are some tricky courses that will require a great deal of thought to complete! Good luck!
Penguin Attack is probably the most original iPhone web game that I have come across to date (May '08). The game play lends itself well to the iPhones touch screen and is probably best described as billiards meets curling as you use your slide your penguins across the ice, trying to knock you enemies in to the icy waters along the way.
Whilst the idea is simple enough it is actually harder than you might think since each new level has a different layout and number of enemies. This means the game doesn't get boring because each level is, in itself, a seperate puzzle.
Simple and addictive I played this for a good hour when I first picked it up and I'll definately come back to it.
