Peggle

You would be forgiven for being a bit dubious about Peggle. The childish graphics are somewhat reminiscent of Care Bears or My Little Pony and give the impression that this is designed for a more junior audience.

Look beyond the graphics and the actual game play is incredibly basic and would at first make you question your purchase. It's a lot like pin ball but without paddles!

The aim of the game is to knockout all the orange pegs by firing balls from the top of the screen. Your balls will bounce off all the other pegs and bricks and if you're lucky (no skill required) you might get your ball back at the end. It is all very, very simple.

That said, for some reason it is also terribly addictive! This is by far the simplest of all the games for iPod available but on my first go I had to keep just going.

Of the other iPod games available from iTunes, the most comparable is Zuma which I would still rate above this although if you like Zuma you should enjoy this.
